Downside in comparison to Evernote: it hasn't got that awesome searching capabilities within graphics (menus, contracts, business cards, etc.)ġ2. Yojimbo has a somewhat cluttered interface compared to the latest versions of Evernote, but that interface in some aspects helps me find quicker the needed information than any other tool. For sensitive information as receipts, contracts and/or work related stuf, I do not want to have my information in the cloud. Although I am a big Evernote fan and a premium user of theirs, I keep returning to Yojimbo. Yojimbo - this is a tool worthy of a book. iA Writer - a clear win for Byword, but let's be clear - iA Writer on the iPad has got no rival.ġ1. I prefer this one though - Byword, because it has a cooler icon :) and it has a light text on black background option. I love iA Writer, which is a non-distraction text/Markdown editor. MacJournal - this can organise all your memories - text, pics, audio, video everything that you might want to include to your Journal and/or blog (supports multiple blogs and even Tumblr).ġ0. Great readability and something amazing if you have to sit in front of your laptop and are without your iPadĩ. This is basically a non-browser interface to your Instapaper (you need the additional subscription to use it with this app) and your ReadItLater subscriptions.
#Soulver alfred mac
ReadNow - an app that was taken down from the Mac App Store, for some reason unknown to the public. I use as well the iPad and the iPhone versions.Ĩ.

I could use the browser based Google Reader of course and it would not have costed me a dime, but I am a fan of the dedicated applications as you can tell from my dock (almost every tool here might be replaced by a free software). It has a whole array of possibilities to export or share the content you are reading. Reeder - the best RSS/ Google Reader client, ever. Apple Mail with a Steve Jobs icon (form the Think Different campaign), I cycle between him and Edison.ħ. icons/details/1468/fantastic_dream.htmlĦ. Safari with an icon from the Fantastic dream icon set - downloaded from Interface Lift (where else?) and replaced using CandyBar. iCal - I still find that Bus圜al is too expensive for what it offers - I use Fantastical to feed events into a Google calendar synced with iCal and the Mac at my office - I am still on Leopard there and since Apple came up with the limitation for iCloud and killed my MobileMe off, I have resorted to Google.ĥ. The cloud sync is robust and the flexibility of the software, as well as the organisational options make me prefer it to Wunderlist even if it is not only free, but heavily influenced by Things too.Ĥ.
#Soulver alfred license
I am a Things user since the early days - at least a couple of years, and a proud owner of a family license too.

Things Beta (with Cloud Sync) - this is the best task management tool for Mac, and I have tried quite a few. Path Finder - a great, insanely flexible, multitool for file managment, Teminal commands usage, app lanching and what notĢ.
